Virtual Lecture: Freemasonry – The Craft of Self-Actualization, a western path to enlightenment

September 15, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Livingston Masonic Library is proud to present W∴ Michael LaRocco for a virtual lecture on the evening of September 15, 2020.

Freemasonry is an enigmatic fraternity whose origins are lost in antiquity. Its purpose, however, is something each generation must decide.

W∴ Michael will attempt to challenge us to perceive how the esoteric and exoteric symbols of freemasonry lead us to Self Actualization. In addition, to how the uniqueness of our toleration for religion, tradition, and culture aids us in dissolving our prejudices with group and self-identification which removes the obstacles to enlightenment.

Bio:

Utterly fascinated with the Fraternity Michael is a 32° MSA recipient Scottish Rite Mason, RoyalArch, Cryptic Council, and Knight Templar. He is also the Magus Templi (founder & presiding officer) of the Magus Guild, which is a Guild of the Valley of Rockville Centre AASR NMJ whose mission is to increase the esoteric experience of Freemasonry to 32 & 33° Masons. Current Master of Lynbrook-Massapequa #822 and Program Director of the Valley of Rockville CentreAASR NMJ.

Michael’s goal is to discover the essence of Masonry and its connection to mysticism, magic, and personal development and thereby inspiring the brothers of the Fraternity to create the best version of themselves.
